Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated
Need My Fiber is reader-supported. Here’s how that works, in plain English.
What an affiliate link is
Some links on this site go to stores or brands that pay me a small commission if you buy something after clicking. You pay the same price either way. These links are marked with a small arrow, and any page that has one shows a short notice above the first link.
Affiliate links on this site go through addresses that start with needmyfiber.com/go/. That lets me keep links up to date in one place and count which ones people use.
Which programs I use
Right now, none. The site is new and I haven’t joined any affiliate program yet, so there are no affiliate links on it today. When that changes, this section will list every program I’m in. My plan is to work with brands’ own programs first and link to a retailer such as Amazon only when a brand doesn’t have one.
What never changes
- Brands can’t pay for a review, a ranking or a better score.
- I only call a product tested if I actually tested it, with a dated log and real photos.
- If a product is disappointing, the review says so, commission or not.
- If a brand sends a product for free, the review will say so.
Ads
Later on, the site may show display ads. Ads are clearly separated from articles, and advertisers have no say in what I write.
